Day One/Two: Zurich – Mumbai

Day One (and Two) of our RTW tour have provided a great start:

On time departure from Zurich, on time arrival in Mumbai. SWISS Business is offering merging cuisine: Samosa with Roesti :-)… Inflight entertainment with latest blockbusters: the both of us enjoyed a variety of good movies. Immigration within minutes and luggage came in reasonable time. First traffic experience on our way to Holiday Inn: Welcome to another world, full of cars, Tuc Tuc’s and to the world’s craziest drivers.

Despite the time difference of 4.5 hrs, we managed to sleep “in the zone”; however, we missed the breakfast 😉 . Day Two:

We discovered our rooftop infinity pool (unlike Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, the area is almost empty), spa and gym. Late afternoon was dedicated to a tour by “Cool Taxi” and Tuc Tuc, both were special; however the latter one is definitely ULTIMATE…

After a short visit of Mumbai’s R-City Mall (could be any other mall in any other major city), we decided for dinner in our room: DELICIOUS! Naan, Paratha, Dahi Batata Puri and Kingfisher beer.

Getting ready for Day 3 (Kolkata)…we will see good friends from the recent and long past.
